A guiding principle in the USSVI Creed is: “to perpetuate the memory of our shipmates…” Excellent words intended to honor those who perished in WWII but in reality the thought extends to all submariners living or dead. A core value of the USSVCF is to help in collecting and keeping stories of our shipmates for posterity. And don’t forget that the wives and significant others of our members have equally fascinating stories. We value them and collect them, too. This page is the repository of those stories. Enjoy them and tell your own. Jess will help you and you will feel better knowing that your great grandchildren will have a place to go to hear of your service in the boats.
