The Mather Veterans Center is an area called the “Veteran's Memorial Plaza”. The Gold Country Base has voted to purchase a brick for every member of the base since its inception in the year 2000. The best count they have is 63 members who are on Eternal Patrol. The Veteran's Memorial Plaza is in front of the VA Northern California Health Care System's Sacramento Medical Center in Mather.
